HR Business Partner – Kenya and Eastern Africa Region
Customers:
• Regional office management team
• Employee Bodies (Workplace forums)
• Recruitment Agencies
• External HR vendors
• HR Management
• Human Resource Team
• Africa Management
Outputs:
• Act as a business partner by embedding company HR strategy and by providing professional generalist HR guidance and support to client groups with the objective to add value to the business
• Contribute to the business strategy by helping identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
• Diagnosed business challenges
• Translated business and HR strategy into a clear annual HR operational plan
• Implement group wide initiatives/strategy
• Designed and implemented Human Resources Policies and Procedures (Employee Relations, Recruitment & Selection)
• Responsible for execution of all people processes in the employment and business cycle, in line with policy and legislation - recruitment, induction, L&D, retention, career management, reward etc
• Supported RDs, GM and line management in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with the function/business strategy
• Facilitated line of sight initiatives to build a high-performing organization aligned with the strategic leadership agenda
• Facilitated and promote employee engagement and feedback
• Provided expert advice and coaching to employees where appropriate
• Manage and follow through on Employee Relations cases
• Implement Performance Management philosophy and processes
• Transactional HR excellence - effective back office liaison
• HR Reporting (monthly, training, assessments, projects)

Qualification and experience
• A degree in HR or Social Science or related degree
• A Master’s degree would be an added advantage
• Technical knowledge in Labour laws
• Minimum 10 years working experience.
