Yara Tanzania Ltd, commercial activities are divided in two areas of responsibility, covering sales through Distributors and Industrial/Commercial Farmers. The commercial activity is supported by a central and regional based Market Development team which provides training, technical support, runs trails and demonstrations, and a central Customer Service organization which handles logistics and order handling.
Yara Tanzania Ltd will during 2014 finalize a fertilizer terminal in the port of Dar es Salaam which will give the company an excellent position to further develop the business and to meet ambitious targets for Tanzania and neighboring countries.
We are now looking to recruit eight Bagging Operators for the Terminal Operations.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities- Bagging Operators
- Routine shift duties (Operate the bagging machines)
- Bags control records
- Independent handling of startups and shutdowns in field
- Preparation of equipment to safely handover for maintenance
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Interaction with maintenance wings and other disciplines
- Adhere to site safety practices and Procedures
- Training of other staff
- Loading Supervision
Profile
Profile
- Minimum 2 years relevant working experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven field experience or experience related
- Computer literate, at least be proficient in Windows and MS Office Suite
- Enthusiastic approach and willingness to learn
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Strong communication and listening skills
