POSITION DESCRIPTION:
A
Branch Manager is the chief operations officer of a Branch, who is responsible
for overseeing daily operations and affairs of the branch.
ANSWERABLE:
The
Branch manager reports to the General Manager
ROLES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The
Branch Manager plays the following roles:
·
Making follow up of section managers and
security commanders’ performances
·
Preparing branch plans
·
Supervising implementation of the
planning process
·
Supervising implementation of the
control process
·
Overseeing staff discipline in general
in the branch
·
Ensuring that the working environment is
conducive for enhancing productivity of members of staff
·
The disseminator who passes information
to section managers and members of staff in general in at branch level.
·
Responsible for establishing and
maintaining clear lines of responsibility within the branch for all managerial
and administrative matters.
·
The branch manager is the custodian of
the branch budgets and is responsible for financial management at the branch.
ACTIVITIES
The
Branch Manager activities among other responsibilities include the following:

To chair weekly branch management
meetings
·
To prepare branch performance reports
·
To make follow up of daily branch
security activities
·
To monitor allocation of resources
within the branch
·
To monitor staff discipline in general
in the branch
