About the role
Based in our London support office, as the Senior Manager Legal & Compliance you will be responsible for drafting a range of commercial contracts to include procurement and supply, distribution, promotional marketing, services, IP licenses and assignments. The position will require you to work with minimal supervision with the ability to turn your hands to a wide variety of issues. You will therefore be confident to suggest, change and implement new ways of working - both in the team and across the organisation where necessary. You will also support the governance processes of MSI and manage and support two direct reports: the Legal Adviser and Legal assistant/team co-ordinator.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have experience of drafting guidance notes on a range of commercial, legal and business matters to support country directors, and have knowledge of intellectual pro perty, as well as in the setting up of governance structures. Experience of working in-house with teams in developing countries would be an advantage. The role is varied and will require you to have strong technical and drafting skills with a passion for international development.
