Reporting to: Manager, Strategic and Corporate Planning
Key duties and responsibilities
- Conducting market or competitor research, analyzing data, and building financial models.
- Conducting long term analysis of economic, political and social trends that are relevant to airline industry;
- Maintaining a close-eye on demographic trends related to target customer segments;
- Coordinating the strategic planning process by working closely with other departments;
- Co-ordinating action planning and budget preparation /implementation;
- Conducting Company Performance reviews and producing reports;
- Monitoring trends in product innovation in the airline sector;
- Development of long term strategic plan.
Required Education and Experience:
- Solid Experience of Data Modeling Techniques and Progressive Experience in Financial Modeling; Business Intelligence within Related Strategic Field. Experience as an Analyst Role in Finance and Planning.
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics or Business Management is mandatory.
Core Computer Competencies
- MS Office – Word, PowerPoint and Exceptional Knowledge of MS Office- Excel is required
- Microsoft Project 2007 is required
- Knowledge in any other modeling tool is an added advantage
