Key Responsibilities:
Assist in administration of recruitment and placement processes in accordance with the Kabanga Nickel Recruitment and Employment Policy
Ensure that KNCL’s Local Hiring Policy is followed to the letter during the hiring of unskilled and semi-skilled positions.
Updating personal and system records on all employee data or changes.
Administer employees’ registration with pension schemes and updating employees’ contribution records.
Assist in conducting on-board induction to all new KNCL employees.
Weekly update on manpower statistics - recruitments, turnover, promotions, secondments, trainings etc.
Maintain up to date records, in an orderly manner in all personnel files.
Updating leave records and schedule for staff and ensure correct documentation is maintained on a monthly basis.
Ensure medical enrolments with International/National Medical providers, and additions, deletions of exited staff and payments are correct on a monthly basis
Maintaining accurate records with regards to permit applications, expiry of permits, renewals etc. on a weekly basis and ensure the process checklist is adhered to
Support and attend to day-to-day queries from National/International staff with regards to any HR Processes and Procedures.
Assist in any employee relations issues as directed by the HR Lead.
Assist in translations where required of all HR related communications.
Support Health, Safety, Environment and Community Relations issues and initiatives.
Assist in any other HR related duties as directed by the HR Lead.
Candidate profile:
The successful candidates will have the following attributes:
Advanced diploma/Degree qualification in Human Resources or any related field.
2 - 3 years’ experience in Human Resources function.
Good understanding of business principles.
Knowledge of Human Resources practices in all functional areas.
Good computer skills and knowledge of database systems would be an advantage
detail.
Team player
Good communication skills both oral and written –English and Kiswahili
Strong organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn.
