World Relief is looking for a suitably qualified South Sudanese Nationals to fill the following vacancies in Unity State
Job Title: Supplementary Feeding Programme (SFP) Coordinator
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the overall coordination of the Supplementary Feeding program.
• Assist in the identification of areas where nutritional interventions are appropriate.
• Provide specialized input to the Nutritionist on the planning and implementation of the Supplementary Feeding Centres and the interventions to be carried out.
• Undertake nutrition assessments; analyse data and recommend for implementation of relevant nutrition program.
• Assess the adequacy of the diet received by young children and make necessary recommendations.
• Ensure timely requisition of food and other necessary supplies for the SFC program implementation.
• Assist in identifying non-performance causes of the program and find workable solutions.
• Identify the health needs of the SFC beneficiaries and coordinate with the health care providers for their management.
• Train SFC staff and Community outreach teams in daily running of the feeding centres.
• Identify staff training needs and provide refresher and on the job training to all SFP staff.
• Assist the Ministry of Health staff to set up and supervise feeding centres, if requested.
• Compile and analyse monthly written report on the status of the Supplementary Feeding program and distribute them to relevant partners.
• Undertake proper filling and storage of project reports/ data
• Assist in the recruitment of the SFC staff and community outreach workers.
• Monitor the performance of the SFC Supervisors and other staff and provide technical support and on the job training and write their performance reports.
• Assist in planning and implementation of Nutrition survey.
• Participate in relevant Nutrition coordination meetings as required.
• Liase and network with other NGO’s, relevant UN agencies, community leaders, etc.

Any other duties as delegated by the Health and Nutrition Program

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Degree/Diploma in nursing or nutrition with two years of proven experience as a nurse or nutritionist with at least one year experience as a nutrition or health supervisor
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel)
• Coaching and mentoring capabilities
• Good command of oral and written English a must.
• Flexibility: Ready to be deployed in any location of program implementation.
Job Title: Nutrition Project Officer (2)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Planning, organizing, leading nutrition activities
• Provide technical support to ensure quality nutrition services
• Monitor and evaluate nutrition activities
• Prepare timely and accurate data collection systems, monitor data for accuracy, and provide data analysis as required
• Monitor referrals lead case load, integration into existing OTP and SFP programs
• Identify staff training needs and respond by either implementing internal training where appropriate
• Organize meetings with the team to discuss work progress, constraints and recommendations
• Anticipate program needs to ensure that all supplies are procured in a timely fashion.
• Assist with logistical support such as the preparation of relevant forms and other supplies for the programme.

• Ensure that appropriate health and nutrition education is provided to and understood by all mothers/ beneficiaries with particular focus on mothers of malnourished children
• Organize public nutrition education sessions in coordination with the nutrition and health education teams in all World Relief operation sites
• Provide monthly progress reports and statistics for the OTP and all nutrition activities to the Nutrition Coordinator on the progress of the program
• Analyze the monthly nutrition report, interpret it and compare to the indicators
• Document all population/beneficiaries figures and update from different sources
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of the programme’s activities
• To assist with donor reports and proposal writing
• Cooperate with other members of the World Relief team and develop a good working relationship with the fellow colleagues
• To maintain confidentiality and enhance World releif’s reputation by acting in a professional and responsible manner
• To carry out any other duties as assigned by the programme manager/nutrition coordinator and or their superior.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify training needs for CHD, CBO and health care providers including volunteers
• Plan, facilitate and evaluate trainings
• Assist in health project design
• Identify training materials and curricula development
• Provide technical support to ensure quality health care services
• Monitor and evaluate health and capacity building activities

• Support the development of timely and accurate data collection systems, monitor data for accuracy, and provide data analysis as required.
• Compile monthly and progress report
• Coordinate health activities with Ministries of Health, UN agencies, other implementing partners and funding agencies.
• Ensure compliance with WHO and GOSS MOH guidelines and policies in each project component.
• Disseminate MOH policies and guidelines
• Maintain clear communication with all and office staff from time to time
• Represent WR in health coordination meetings
• Assist in development of proposals, budget and project review processes.
• Promote the development of a sustainable health project by offering creative ideas and new approaches to solving problems in the health program.
• Coordinate with other World Relief projects in each field with full support for an integrated approach to community development.
• Reflect an example of true Christian character and mission in all interations with WR staff and community members.
• Work to strengthen the local church’s and CBO capacity for supporting health initiatives.
• Any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Recognized Diploma or BSc in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
Fully qualified/ Registered with relevant authorities
Post qualification training in reproductive health services
