Nokia is pleased to announce the launch of the 2012 Nokia Design Summer Trainee Program. We are looking to recruit summer trainees with experience across all aspect of design and have chosen teams and locations which ensure we reflect this. We would expect successful applicants to join our Finland team during summer 2012.

We are looking for people who have both a professional Design qualification and a passion and genuine flair for Design. As in Summer Trainee joining Nokia Design you will have the opportunity to work with real products and shape the development of the mobile world. We have a very clear learning and development program which will ensure that you are both developing your core skill and in addition developing your broad business understanding. You will have an opportunity to work with some of the best and most highly respected Design professionals in the industry and learn from their hands on experience.

Qualifications
We are looking for a talented Visual Design Masters degree student who has excellent visual design and media artist skills. You will also be able to demonstrate a strong portfolio showing relevant commercial experience or academic project work. We are looking for highly creative and innovative people who have a strong understanding of modern Interaction, User Experience and Visual Design principles. In addition to an excellent academic profile you will be able to show a genuine passion for Design in every aspect of your life. We're looking for people who are hungry to learn but at the same time aren't afraid to challenge us and make us think about Design in a new way.
English is the main language in every Nokia office so it's important that you have a strong command as you will be working with colleagues from all over the globe. The program is looking to kick off around May\June depending on the suitable applicants availability.
