Holder of a University Degree in either Statistics or Education Planning from a recognized institution with working experience of at least three years.
DUTIES
• Develops methodologies for data collection on various aspects of University operational programmes,
• Designs and reviews data collection instruments,
• Analyses and evaluates information gathered,
• Analyses programme loads and implementation techniques,
• Finds out operational efficiency of the programme using costs and other indicators,

SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER I - (1 Post), Mbeya Campus College QUALIFICATIONS
Holder of a Master Degree in Public Administration, Management, Sociology, Human Resource Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution with nine years working experience and must have passed Human Resource Proficiency Examinations.
DUTIES
• Administers and maintains the salary administration and staff benefit programmes;
• Monitors and evaluates salary increase requests received by the personnel office during the annual merit review;
• Directs the work of salary administration and benefits through subordinate officers;

• Plans, develops and directs administration of schemes of service, compensation and staff benefit programmers to ensure maintenance of integrity of the schemes of service and active worth of jobs in the University.
• By reviewing and recommending for approval new schemes of service, compensation and benefits administration policies.
• By reviewing existing policies to determine their adequacy and recommending changes where necessary;
• By providing a consultative service to management on the interpretation and application of schemes of service and their policy, and other government directives.
• Performs any other duties assigned by Superior.

HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER II - (1 Post), Main Campus QUALIFICATIONS
Holder of a first degree or Advanced Diploma in Public Administration, Management, Sociology, Human Resource Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
DUTIES
• Assists in handling pension benefit schemes;
• Assists in maintaining manpower statistics;
• Assists in the salary administration, remuneration schemes and management of pensions and terminal benefits;
• Assists in enforcing conditions of service;
• Assists in manpower allocation;
• Prepares staff records regarding staff leave and seniority list
• Performs any other duties assigned by Superior.

ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN – (1 post), Main Campus QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Masters Degree in Information Science/Studies in addition to having a minimum GPA of 3.5 (Upper Second) in the first Bachelor’s Degree. Candidates with working experience will have an added advantage.
DUTIES
• Handing matters pertaining to lending out and receipt of books.
• Providing reader and reference services and giving appropriate advice.
• Assist in acquisitions of library material by selecting, ordering, receiving and recording them.
• Cataloguing and classifications of books; indexing of periodicals and journals and other reference materials.
• Automating the Library catalogue and circulation services.
• Abstracting of student’s thesis, journals and periodicals.
• Re-shelving of books left by readers on study tables.
• Training junior staff.
• Assisting readers in searching information both electronically on the internet/CDs and manually on the shelves/catalogue.
• Carry out normal teaching in relevant courses.

• Prepares and balances various subsidiary ledgers.
• Prepares reconciliations for bank transactions, debtors and creditors
• Summarizes monthly accounting transactions for positing into the general ledger.
• Processes payment and receipts transactions.
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned by superior.
