AGE: 21 YEARS AND ABOVE.

DUTIES:-

The incumbent will be responsible to the Meteorological Officer for performing the following duties:

• Responsible for fault finding in communication equipment under supervision.

• Responsible for frequency alignment on all communication equipment at regular intervals.

• Responsible for calibration of all instruments at regular intervals.

• Responsible for maintenance of hydrogen generator and digital equipment.

• In collaboration with the relevant sections, he/she will be responsible for installation of communication equipment and meteorological instruments.

• Any other duties as may be assigned by from time to time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:

Applicants should be Ugandans in possession of Advanced Level Certificate with passes in Physics and Mathematics plus a Diploma in Maintenance of Electronic equipment from a recognized Institution. Possession of a qualification related to Meteorology will be an added advantage.
