JOB TITLE: SUPERVISOR-BUDGET MANAGEMENT

JOB CODE: HRM/071/502

REPORTS TO: MANAGER-MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING

ROLE: To support the development of the Authority’s budget; monitor performance and provide periodic budget performance reports in accordance with the URA accounting manual.
Requirement:

Qualifications:

a) An Honors Bachelors degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.

b) Relevant Professional qualification and membership to a Professional Association (ACCA, CPA); Postgraduate Qualification in Accounting or Financial Management; Proficiency in applied Accounting Software Programs; and Specialized training in planning and budgeting will be an added advantage.



Knowledge & Experience:

a) At least three (3) years’ experience in handling the Finance / Budgeting Operations in a large Corporate Organization.

b) Strong planning and budget management.

c) Proven supervisory experience or leadership of teams.

Abilities:

a) Should have exceptional Client Relationship Skills to maintain internal and External Stakeholders’ relationships with the aim of supporting them to effectively optimize their resources.

b) Should have outstanding analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to effectively support the realization of the Authority’s Financial resources

c) Should have the ability to create and maintain team spirit and is able to motivate and develop others

d) High Level of Integrity
