JOB TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER (03)

JOB CODE: HRM/075/600

REPORTS TO: RESPECTIVE SUPERVISOR

ROLE: To implement the Human Resource Programmes and initiatives in line with the Departmental Plan, Human Resource Manage­ment Manual and Employment Legislation.




Requirement:

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:

Qualifications:

a) An Honors Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Manage­ment, Social Work and Social Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Psychology, Organization Development or other related field.

b) Post Graduate Qualification or Professional certification in HR will be an added advantage

Knowledge and Experience;

a) At least two (2) year’s Practical experience in handling HR Functions.

b) Knowledge of the Labour Laws in Uganda.

c) Knowledge of the best practices in HR.

Abilities:

Ability and experience in handling Organization Develop­ment Work will be an added advantage. Service Orientation: Actively looking for ways to support the clients and deliver the client expectations in terms of content and quality. Ability to effectively work in teams Should have exceptional Interpersonal and Communication Skills to maintain internal and external stakeholders’ relationships with the aim of identification and delivery of the client expectations in terms of content and quality. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving ability Proven High Level of integrity.
