We are seeking to appoint a talented and able epidemiologist/medical statistician to contribute to a research project using data from the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC).
You will join a team investigating the early life determinants of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and its metabolic and vascular consequences in adolescence. You will conduct literature reviews, complete statistical analyses and contribute to writing papers for journal publication. Analytical approaches will include multilevel models for dealing with repeat measurements or clustered data and multivariable regression models. You will also have the opportunity to present research findings and conferences.
This full-time position is offered for 36 months, salary dependent on qualifications and level of experience. The post is ideally suited to someone with an MSc/PhD in epidemiology or medical statistics.
