Position: Research Analyst Budget Accountability (2 positions)

Reports to: Uwazi Manager

Location: Kampala, Uganda, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Anticipated Start Date: October 1^st, 2011

Overall Responsibilities

Under the overall guidance of Uwazi manager, the research analyst:

• Contributes to the mission of Uwazi.
• Supports the Twaweza team in its endeavour to implement program goals, including through internal learning, policy debates, and opinion articles.
• Supports the planning and review processes of the Uwazi work program in a timely manner.
• Implements activities in line with the associated budgets and with work plans, in ways that are consistent with Twaweza policies.
