Members of an Independent Audit and Oversight Committee

It has been agreed by UNHCR’s Standing Committee that an Independent Audit and Oversight Committee be established to serve in an expert advisory capacity to assist the High Commissioner and the Executive Committee in exercising their oversight responsibilities in accordance with relevant best practices, industry standards and applicable UN financial and staff rules and regulations.

UNHCR wishes to appoint five members to this Committee. The members of the Committee must have recent and relevant senior-level experience in financial oversight, audit and/or inspections. Please note that in order to maintain the necesssary independence the selected members shall not receive a fee for services rendered.
