We are looking for a Rural Development Senior Expert for a Formulation project in Tanzania.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

• University degree in the field of rural development, agriculture or ecology

• Expertise in rural development in fragile ecosystems zones with a focus on local communities livelihoods improvement

• High level experience in rural economics in developing countries

• Proven expertise in NRM

• Good knowledge of institutional strengthening and capacity building approaches and principles

• Good knowledge of new approach and agenda in development cooperation, particularly the aid efficiency challenge and sectorial approach

• Broad experience in development project’s formulation in a team leader position and good analysis capacity

English:

Excellent level (written and spoken)

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in NRM with a focus on wetlands

• Experience in Tanzania and/or East Africa
