MINISTRY OF HEALTH, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, GENDER, ELDERLY AND CHILDREN

APPLICATION FOR SPONSORSHIP

The Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender Elderly and Children intends to sponsor candidate to pursue Postgraduate courses in various Health specialties for academic year 2016/2017.

ELIGIBILITY:
- Should be a Tanzanian Citizen not older than 50 years.

- Should have an admission letter for academic year 2016/2017 from a recognized
university (attachment)

- Must be working in Government/FBO Institutions preferably in regional and
districts health facilities.

- Should have a working experience of three or more years by May 2016, excluding
the period of internship and last sponsorship.

- Should have a working experience of three or more years, after last sponsorship.

- There should be a relevance of the course applied for to the current post and need of the
place of the work.

- Should present a permission letter, recommendation letter and justification of the need of
that particular speciality by the employer showing the existing number of the specialists in
the Regional Referral Hospital/Zonal Referral Hospital/Special Hospital/National hospital
by name and their specialisation. These documents shall be submitted with a covering
letter from the employer not the applicant.

- For applicants working under the districts and wish to work to a specific region, should channel their applications through the current employer to the regional health administration for recommendation and submission.

- Should have a valid permanent or full professional registration from the relevant
Council/authority (attachment)

- Preference will be given to locally available courses and rare specialties.

- Selected candidates will enter into contractual agreement with the Government.
