Objectives:
To conduct an overall analysis of financial performance of TTCL in line with approved annual budget to assist management in deciding and taking appropriate decisions and actions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops, disseminates, and monitors implementation and reviews financial management and budget guidelines, processes and procedures in the company.
Prepares guidelines and co-ordinates the exercise of annual budget preparation in the company. Monitors and reports on the financial performance of the Company in terms of actual performance against budget targets/plans and recommends appropriate actions.
Analyses and prepares departmental and regions monthly expenditure reports under various cost centers in relation to approved budget and advice as appropriate.
Initiates and coordinate the exercises mid year budget review to ensure company’s revenues and expenditure targets are realized.
Monitors and controls company’s capital expenditure to ensure implementation in line with approved budget.
Interfaces with other departments on preparation of company’ Strategic Business Plan and Budget.
Provide leadership to the section by demonstrating the corporate values, taking accountability for the actions and results of self and others and practice corporate governance in the section.
Provide inputs to TTCL’s corporate planning processes and develop sectional objectives and functional plans that support the achievement of TTCL’s corporate objectives.
Accountable for the development of employees and ensuring the section has adequate performance capabilities in terms of skills, competencies and resources necessary to accomplish sectional objectives.
Accountable for performance management of employees including setting objectives, regular feedback on performance and coaching and mentoring to improve performance and maximize employee job satisfaction.
Accountable for developing section budget and monitor and control sectional expenditure and costs to meet the budget and maximize the effective use of TTCL’s financial resources.
Implements and exercises delegated authority and any other instructions and directives as may be issued by the management from time to time.
Key Qualifications / Experience / Skills:
University Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics coupled with professional qualifications such as CPA (T), ACCA or equivalent recognized by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA). Five (5) years experience in handling management accounting functions in a large commercial organization of which Two (2) years must be in a managerial position.
Computer literacy, preferably in SUN systems accounting package and XL Version.
Strong negotiation and analytical and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to form and sustain team work.
High degree of integrity and ethical values.

Objectives:
The incumbent will be responsible for Supporting Corporate vision and strategy by supporting the implementation of strategic planning and reporting framework, the development of corporate plan and annual report. The incumbent will coordinate the organization’s Business planning and performance reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
To contribute to the development of suitable performance indicators for inclusion in business plans
To identify objectives and priorities necessary to accomplish the goals of the corporation.
To provide advice to the manager regarding business systems enhancements and work practice modifications which would foster an environment of continuous improvement
To coordinate planning processes to ensure timely preparation and completion of strategic business plans.
To develop and maintain knowledge of business planning and reporting trends and best practice and make relevant recommendations
To keep abreast of relevant emerging legislation, codes of practice, etc and provide up to date advice to management on the effect of these changes.
To monitor and review the social-economic environment, including the company’s performance, country’s macro-economic performance, trends in the telecommunications industry, etc. for business planning purposes.
To provide input into decisions relating to the development and implementation of the business planning and performance reporting systems.
To Conduct organizational assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
To coordinate and support the preparation of Key functional objectives, strategies, action plans and Key performance indicators of various functional departments for the Strategic Business Plan
To ensure the congruency, effectiveness, efficiency and appropriateness of the Company’s Strategic Business Plan.
To provide input as required to TTCL’s corporate planning processes and developing sectional objectives and functional plans that support the achievement of TTCL’s corporate objectives and the TTCL Strategic Business Plan.
To identify deviations from overall direction of the Strategic Business Plan and recommend corrective actions
To co-ordinate the organization’s annual business planning process, including providing support to Departments in the development of business plans and ensuring organizational requirements are met. • Implements and exercises delegated authority and any other instructions and directives as may be issued by the management from time to time.
Key Qualifications / Experience / Skills:
A university degree in Economics/Business Administration/Finance or related discipline with extensive experience in Corporate Performance Management.
A post-graduate qualification would be an added advantage
Two (2) years experience in corporate planning in a large commercial environment, preferably in the telecommunication sector.
Diverse experience in a broad range of Telecoms industry operations.
Sound analytical skills and ability to think strategically
Computer literate
Strong financial and investment skills.

Key Responsibilities:
1. To develop, disseminate, and monitor implementation and review financial policies, processes, procedures and guidelines that ensure sufficient controls and accounting of company’s assets.
2. To develop and implement financial reporting system and ensures compliance to laid down financial and accounting processes and procedures
. 3. Ensures timely and accurate preparations of various financial reports such as trial balance, quarterly and annual revenues and expenditure reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
4. Liaises with HR department to ensure timely and accurately preparation and processing of payroll.
