Job title: Project Accountant Duty station: Iringa District ( 1 post) Reporting to: Education and Family Strengthening Coordinator
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide financial and administrative support to the Project Coordinator. Keep financial documents and records to meet the organizational and project requirements Manages the Organization’s funds and make sure the program runs according to financial budget frame Implement internal controls mechanism to ensure there is robust Financial Internal Control System in the program Ensure that all financial transactions are correctly executed according to existing financial policies and procedures Ensures all funds are properly controlled and that all administrative and financial procedures are followed.
Academic Qualification and Experiences.
University graduate in Accounting field from recognized university Minimum 3 years’ experience as Accountant in a busy environment (preferably with an NGO). Experience in managing Funds of Multilateral donors. Knowledge on Accounting package system, Microsoft Dynamics NAV will be added advantage
