DRIVER MECHANIC 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Driver Mechanic is responsible for driving safely on official business for Peace Corps Tanzania. As a member of Peace Corps Tanzania's motor pool, the Driver Mechanic ensures assigned vehicle(s) are maintained and roadworthy. The duties of this position will sometimes require the incumbent to work beyond normal working hours, and travel extensively throughout Tanzania and occasionally to neighboring countries. This position will be subject to a three-month probationary period.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Safely drive staff, volunteers and guests in official Peace Corps Tanzania vehicles, obey all traffic laws, only drive vehicles which have been checked and cleared as road worthy, and accurately log all vehicle trips in the Vehicle Log Books.
• Ensure adequate fuel, supplies and resources for all trips.
• Ensure the security of Peace Corps vehicles by locking vehicles and parking vehicles in secure areas.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT AT THE PEACE CROPS OFFICE DAR ES SALAAM
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Medical assistant is directly involved in clinical and administration duties in the Medical unit to support peace corps and volunteers ( PCVs) serving through Tanzania.  The MA is responsible for arranging prompt diagnosis consultations for PCVs with physician, dentist specialist medical laboratories with identified medical facilities and the health unit receptionist actively assistant peace crops medical officers PCMOs in clinical procedure administrative aspects of annual plus termination medical exams including the preparation of laboratory samples maintenance of currency complete and accurate records of all PCVs consultation and treatment ordering and stocking of medical supplies and equipment to ensure availability of drugs when needs.  Maintained a computer based inventory system and provides regular inventory report chaperones PCVs during medical examinations assist to review medical expenditure to ensure that all correspond to provided services and that charges are customary and reasonable
