Job Title: Manager Network Development

Objectives:
To identify and establish network development plans and strategies that support realization of TTCL’s corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Designs, develops and implements business oriented and sustainable plans to optimize TTCL network to meet customer demands.
2. Prepares network technical specifications and schedule of requirements. 3. Liaises with key stakeholders in TTCL to prepare network development projects to modernize, upgrade and or optimize TTCL network implementation resource requirements.
4. Prepares and ensures availability of key resources required for network development projects.
5. Liaises with project coordination, quality assurance and products development teams to prepare projects implementation schedules and guidelines. 6. Provides technical expertise to the evaluation process in the acquisition of network development equipments.
7. Provides inputs to TTCLs corporate planning process and develop sectional objectives and functional plans that support the achievement of TTCL’s corporate objectives.
8. Provides leadership to the section by demonstrating the corporate values, accountability for the actions and results of self and others and practice corporate governance in the section.
9. Accountable for the development of employees and ensure the section has adequate performance capabilities in terms of skills and resources necessary to accomplish sectional objectives
10. Accountable for performance management of employees including setting objectives, providing regular feedbacks on performance and coaching and mentoring to improve performance and maximize employee’s job satisfaction. 11. Accountable for developing sectional budget and monitor and control sectional expenditures and costs to meet effective use of TTCL’s financial resources.
12. Implements and exercise delegated authority and any other instructions and directives as may be issued by the management from time to time. 13. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by respective controlling officer.
Key Qualifications / Experience / Skills:
1. University Degree in Telecommunications Engineering/Electrical and or Electronics. Post graduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
2. Five (5) years experience in telecommunication industry of which 3 should be at supervisory level.
3. Strong background in network planning and development.
4. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills coupled with strong analytical skills.
5. Self motivated and ability to meet multiple deadlines under limited resources.
