POSITION OBJECTIVE
Ensure that all scheduled activities related to construction and maintenance of electrical distribution systems are carried out effectively and efficiently in order to ensure that customers are receiving reliable power supply.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Execute properly preventive maintenance of electrical equipment in a planned time to ensure emergence break downs are avoided.
• Respond promptly to emergence calls during emergence break downs to ensure restoration of fault equipment within minimum time possible. P-reparation of reports detailing distribution environments and ensure data keeping done as per regulations.
• Observe safety regulations and working procedures to ensure no accidents to people and equipment.
• Keep maintenance records, equipment status updating and submit work reports after repairs or preventive maintenances.
• Identify all faults/defects of the equipment and carry out repairs.
• Carry out installation and testing of electrical equipment.
• Track and records the maintenances on infrastructure for necessary input to Asset Management database.
• Participate on supervision of distribution works including infrastructures maintenance, rehabilitation, and protection as well as construction activities
PROFESSIONAL AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
FuII Technician Certificate (FTC)/Ordinary Diploma in Electrical Engineering from accredited Institution or equivalent qualification from any recognized Institutions.
