For a Study on State of the implementation of the Regional Initiative on Natural Resources to address the problem of Conflict Minerals in the ''International Conference on the Great Lakes Region'' area and recommendations for follow up, GEOtest is looking for a Junior Expert with the following qualifications:
Language/s: English, French, Ki-Swahili
Period: January 2015 – December 2015
Indicative starting date: 12/01/2015
Junior expert in Minerals Geology (40 WDs)
- Educations at least up to Master's degree or PhD level
- Minimum 3 years of experience in minerals geology or other natural resources disciplines, with specific experience in Africa and preferably the Great Lakes region
- Proven knowledge of data analysis and research techniques in the field of mineral geology. Proven knowledge and experience working with certification mechanisms, traceability schemes and implementation of the OECD Due Diligence guidance
- Fluency in English and French (local languages an advantage, especially Ki-Swahili).
