Assistant Transmission Technician II ( x 2)
Location > Mwawile, Misungwi District 

Reporting to: Transmission Technician

Qualifications:
Holder of a Form IV Certificate with Trade Test Grade II in
Plumbing from a recognized training institution.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspecting transmission pipeline and reporting any fault or anomaly.
Reporting and repairing water leakages.
Reporting on unauthorized water connection.
Carrying out- water disconnections and reconnections timely.
Opening and closing sectional valves.
Opening and closing sectional valves.
Supervising clearance of the pipelines.
Performing any duties as may be assigned by the Transmission-Technician.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: -
Qualifications and Experience
In service employees , must possess the above qualifications and have at least four (4) years working experience and a good track working record.

Age Limit
Not above 45 years for all posts.

Terms of Service
Permanent basis upon successful completion of a one year probation period.

 Water Transmission Technician II 
Location > Mwawile, Misungwi District 

Reporting to: Transmission Engineer


Qualifications:
Holder of Diploma in Civil! Water Supply Engineering from a recognized technical college.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensuring pipes, valves and other fittings are always in good condition and working.
Finding the causes of water loss and making necessary rectification.
Repairing of all water leakages as they occur.
Reporting on water transmission faults.
Carrying out preventive maintenance of water transmission infrastructures.
Carrying out water disconnections and reconnections timely.
Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Transmission Engineer.
