Role overview

The Project Manager will work closely with Chief Executive Officer(CEO) and Deputy Chief executive Officer to manage and lead the Hospital Management System Project including budget, time line and resources.The project Manager will be based at CCBRT head quarters in Dar-es-salaam and will be accountable to CEO and Deputy CEO with reporting lines to VSO health Programme Manage. He/She will have the following tasks and responsibilities
• Create and manage to the overall project plans and timelines.
• Lead CCBRT through vendor evaluation, selection and contracting.
• Manage and oversee the implementation of the chosen product including the design, testing and training phases as well as post implementation.
• Report to steering committee stakeholders and senior management team on project status regularly
• Manage two project Analyst who will work with staff in all aspects of the project
• Ability to analyse and quickly grasp the fundamentals of a need or issue. Able to find innovative ways of solving or pre-empting problems.
• Any other duties assigned.

Skills, qualifications and experience required

You will be able to demonstrate strength in the following areas.
Essentials.
• Experience in leading meetings with leadership down to staff level
• Strong communication skills written and verbal (In English)
• Strong organisational skills.
• Must be experienced computers, including Microsoft office( word, power point, access) as well as ERP solutions.
• Must be able to manage work of others.
Desirable
• Strong understanding of hospital processes.
• Fluent in Kiswahili.
