Agenda Participation 2000 is a Non Governmental Organisation and Consultancy Organisation working to promote Good Governance and Democratisation in Tanzania. The organization among others conducts activities to build local democracy and accountability, citizen’s engagement, civic education training, policy analysis and advocacy.

AP2000 is actively engaged in anti corruption work through its online Tanzania Corruption Tracker System Project (CTS) and Extractive Resource Governance Advocacy. The organization also conducts consultancy work on governance and policy related areas. In order to meet its expanding portfolio AP2000 now seeks competent candidates to fill three vacant positions at its offices in Dar es Salaam as follows:


POSITION: WEBSITE CUM IT MANAGER

Responsibilities

• Managing and updating AP2000’s website
• Managing and updating the Tanzania Corruption Tracker’s Online System
• Managing AP2000’s IT requirements and developing new systems to suit AP2000’s technological needs
• Performance any other IT related tasks as assigned by the Management

Qualifications/Competencies

At least candidate should posses a Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science or Website Management or Multimedia applications. Demonstrated Experience in developing and managing website is a MUST. Candidates with diploma qualifications from recognized institutions may be considered for the job based on experience and demonstrated previous work

Working Experience

At least 2 years experience working as a website developer and manager and demonstrated experience with online crowd sourcing and newsletter applications. Links to sample websites should be indicated in the application.
