 Data Manager – Baby Resuscitation Program

Qualifications
Advanced diploma in data entry
Experience with data entry, data management systems
Experience in health facilities a plus

 Program Assistant for Newborn Resuscitation Program (2 Posts)

Qualifications and Requirements:
Degree in social science or related degree; or Advanced Diploma with a good pass' in English
Secretarial training and office management skills highly desirable
Demonstrated basic accounting skills with experience in petty cash management
Ability to work in an efficient and prompt manner in areas of correspondence, logistics for local and international travel, filing, and record-keeping
Professional, courteous, and pleasant personality; excellent interpersonal skills
Experience working in a busy office; ability to handle multiple tasks with minimum supervision and deal with pressure
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Kiswahili
Excellent organizational skills
Availability and willingness to travel up to 30% time

 Cervical Cancer Prevention Advisor for Maisha Program

Qualifications and Requirements:
Medical degree in obstetrics/gynecology preferred
At least 3 years experience in providing clinical services with a focus on cervical cancer screening
Excellent communication and writing skills, including ability to develop reports and presentations
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational, management and problem-solving skills, effective leadership ability, flexibility in stressful situations, and the ability to respond rapidly to the diverse needs of the program
English and Kiswahili language skills necessary
Availability and willingness to travel up to 40% time

 Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (Readvertised)

Qualifications and Requirements:
Masters degree in public health or related field
5 years of monitoring and evaluation experience, preferably in the area of maternal and newborn health.
Experience with different research and evaluation methodologies, including quantitative and qualitative
Knowledge of and practical experience in conducting data analysis and using different analysis software
Demonstrated report writing skills
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills in English and Kiswahili
Availability and willingness to travel up to 50% time

 Midwifery Advisor

Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Nursing with midwifery qualifications, advanced degree desirable
At least 7 years work experience in reproductive and maternal and child health programs with progressively increasing responsibilities
Prior training experience; excellent classroom and clinical training skills including participatory and experiential learning methods
Knowledge of strategic planning, training program development, implementation, management and monitoring and evaluation
Current knowledge in the field of maternal and child health, including infection prevention, antenatal care, family planning, PMTCT of HIV, essential and emergency maternal and newborn care, etc.
Demonstrated self-management (motivation, dealing with pressure, adaptability, etc.)
Availability and willingness to travel up to 50% time

 HR Officer

Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelors degree preferably in Human Resources Management
Or Business Administration
Minimum 2 years relevant experience with reputable international Organization
Good knowledge of the Tanzanian labor laws
Good computer skills particularly use of Human Resources Information Systems spread sheet, power point and word processing.
Excellent organizational skills including the ability to multitask Be of high integrity and able to maintain confidentiality.
Proven record to work under minimum supervision and meet deadlines Self motivation and good people management attributes.

 Program Officers – Newborn Resuscitation Program (3 Posts)

Qualifications and Requirements:
An MD, AMO or Degree in nursing and midwifery
Candidates with Public Health and any other relevant qualifications will be considered
Solid programmatic and technical expertise in reproductive health programs
At least two years experience in managing health programs at regional or national level including planning, designing, budgeting, supervising, evaluating and documenting results
Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills, inspiring team work and motivating staff, consultants and partners to achieve results.
Demonstrated experience maintaining donor and partner relations, ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to perform
Excellent written and oral English and Kiswahili skills
Demonstrated self- management (i.e. motivation, dealing with pressure adaptability)
Willingness to live in the specified regions and travel up to 60% time

 Senior Health Informatics Advisor

Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in computer sciences or health informatics
At least 5 years work experience supporting technical or programmatic activities in maternal/newborn health or other health areas
At least 5 years experience in data collection, processing, and analysis
Experience working with national HMIS at different levels
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills in English and Kiswahili
Availability and willingness to travel up to 30% time

 Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Officers – Newborn Resuscitation Program

Qualifications and Requirements:
University degree in public health, sociology, demography, statistics, or other social science area; Masters degree preferred
At least 5 years work experience supporting technical or programmatic activities in maternal/newborn health or other health areas (experience with health facility setting a plus);
At least 5 years experience in data collection, processing, and analysis
Experience with databases a plus
Experience implementing qualitative and quantitative research
Knowledge of different analysis software
Report writing and publication skills
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills in English and Kiswahili
Excellent peoples and partnership skills
Availability and willingness to travel up to 30% time
