Simon Group is a Holding Company of several registered companies in Tanzania with investments in different sectors. Currently, it is looking for qualified candidates to fill in the positions of Insurance Officer, Internal Auditor and Group Accountant
Report To:Top Management of the Group Job Purpose
To support the Group Management in performing all insurance related activities for all subsidiaries across the Group.
Duties/Responsibilities of Insurance Officer
Ensure compliance with Group policy and procedure relating to insurance
Ensure that all Group properties are insured timely
Ensure that all necessary information is provided to claims handlers in a timely manner
Assist the Group management in making wise decisions relating to insurance issues
Work with operating companies to maximise insurance recoveries
Perform any other administrative tasks as agreed between the management.
Qualification and Experience
Advanced Diploma / Degree in related field is required.
At least 3 Years of work experience in the same position or related position in a reputable company is mandatory.
Ability to work under pressure
Open minded person
Proficiency in both Swahili and English is required
