Director of Finance and Administration: DOL Project to Support Local Efforts to Combat Child Labor - Tanzania

CHF is seeking a Director of Finance and Administration for a proposed 4-year, $10 million Department of Labor-funded project to combat child labor in Tanzania.
This project will reduce child labor in Tanzania through an area-based approach in geographic areas where there is a prevalence of child labor in agriculture production and domestic service. It will work with local entities and build on existing efforts to reduce the worst forms of child labor, including programs to protect orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), increase access to education and promote economic opportunities for Tanzanian households most vulnerable to the worst forms of child labor.
The Director of Finance and Administration will be accountable for the program management and oversight of all finance, IT, human resources and administrative aspects of the program. S/he will ensure proper reporting, financial management and compliance. The DFA will:
Supervise the finance team to ensure timely, quality, and accurate financial reports and practices; Provide financial control, prepare and analyze budgets, develop financial reports, and make recommendations to HQ on budget expenditures; Oversee annual financial audits of CHF/Tanzania program;Provide oversight of project administration and HR management support.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field. 10+ years experience in international finance/accounting;5+ years of supervisory experience. Financial management experience on a donor-funded project, preferably experience on a US government funded project Knowledge of HR & IT practices. Fluent in written and spoken English required Prior experience in Tanzania and/or regional experience in East Africa Tanzanian citizens are encouraged to apply
