| Introduction |
| Salary Range: £45,000-£50,000 per annum The Aga Khan University (International) in the United Kingdom is currently recruiting a full-time Marketing and Communications Manager for its Institute in London. We are looking for an experienced individual with a proven record of success in a similar role and strong appreciation of the ethos of the Institute. It is a challenging and demanding role for an individual who can work proactively and is hands on in carrying out the functions from start to finish. The incumbent will work closely with Faculty, will be responsible to promote and substantially increase participation and hence, revenue from the Institute’s programmes and raise the profile and visibility of the Institute. |
| Responsibilities |
| The incumbent will plan, deliver and evaluate targeted campaigns within the UK and internationally. S/he will write material for University-wide publications (non-academic) and will take responsibility for the Institute’s presence on the web. S/he will develop relations with select print, broadcast and electronic media to promote the Institute’s work. |
| Requirements |
| The successful candidate will have solid communications and marketing background and experience of delivering successful campaigns and marketing solutions within a university. The candidate must have outstanding communications, writing, editing and IT skills along with a strong commitment to working in a multicultural environment. |
