2. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
REF – HR – P – 02 – 08 - 2011
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will have the following specific responsibilities:
• Plans production maintenance for weekly, monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly maintenance tasks
• Ensures that all the tasks specified by the planner are carried out on due dates in accordance with the approved procedures
• Supervises service level providers to carry out proper maintenance on equipment when due
• Attends to breakdowns promptly during production and solves problems within the shortest time possible
• Installs and commissions new equipment including hardware and software
• Counter checks the work assigned to electrical Technician to ensure thoroughness
• Ensures the use of quality work practices
• Achieves agreed targets:
• Downtime maximum 1% of production time Waste level 4.8% of copies printed
• Prompt response to breakdowns
• Press efficiency 10,000 copies per hour
• Deadline Control: Zero tolerance
• Customer Service: Maximum 24 hour turn around for resolution of complaints
