Scope of Position

We entered the African region by starting a green-field operations in Morocco and are looking for the best leaders to be the core team which will lead our new school to a great success in the upcoming years.
Basic function:
We are looking for a Dean to lead the School, converting it into a model of academic excellence, ensuring at the same time a profitable growth that contributes to achieve the strategic goals and business results of Université Internationale de Casablanca and Laureate.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Design and implementation of academic programs
• Responsible for Academic Products and Innovation:
1) To assure the compliance with accreditation requirements
2) To identify new customers’ needs and business opportunities, both in the Spanish and international markets
3) To supervise the marketing plan of the School
4) To optimize the profitability of the academic programs
5) To supervise the human and financial resources related to each academic program, ensuring budget compliance
• Responsible for the HR Management:
1) To implement a communication plan with the Faculty Board and professors
2) To define criteria for the appropriate workforce planning with special attention to Part Time faculty
3) To promote the professional and academic career development of professors with a special focus on the achievement of Doctorate
4) To ensure the execution of the annual Performance Management processes
5) To lead the internationalization processes of the School
• Responsible for the Quality of the Delivered Products:
1) To guarantee the full satisfaction of students, families and employers as to the academic quality of filières.
2) To lead the continuous improvement of the educational model
• Social Projection:
1) To promote actions designed to improve the School’s recognition and prestige
2) To take part actively in academic and professional forums, contributing to the institutional representation of the University
3) To impulse R&D projects in areas with a relevant social impact
4) To foster the School’s relationships with key professionals, companies and institutions in the relevant professional sectors
Desired Skills & Experience
The main core competencies required:- PhD
- At least 10 years of academic experience
- Solid experience in team and project management, both in academic or business environments
- Good communications and managerial skills
- Planning and organizational skills
- Customer oriented
- Trilingual: Arabic, French and English
The Compensation Package
The annual total compensation will competitive with the market (it will as well include a performance annual bonus).
