Position Description:
Responsible for developing the Company go to market strategy and integrated marketing plan for the Telecommunications sector. Must have an in-depth understanding of the telecommunications landscape in Tanzania, with prior experience marketing to this sector.
Liaise with sales and business stakeholders to understand priority propositions, target accounts and revenue targets. Develop a comprehensive marketing plan to support Local lead generation and revenue targets.
Works closely with the central marketing communications team to ensure the effective execution of campaigns, as well as accurate and consistent sector messaging.
Identify and coordinate synergies across business unit activities, including joint campaigns, upsell and cross sell opportunities and areas of potential cost savings.
Lead on the co-ordination of pan-company market positioning in the Market to key audiences (customers, analysts and media) in the Telco sector working with the PR and AR teams.
DUTIES;-
- Working with Sales, the market insights team and Subject Matter Experts (Solutions Marketing & Product Management) across the business develop a regional GTM strategy for the Telco sector and subsequent integrated marketing plan.
- Working with key stakeholders across the business, develop appropriate positioning and messaging for the Telco sector, aligning between offerings where appropriate.
- Working with the central marketing communications team, manage the effective delivery of the regional sector marketing plan on budget and on time.
- Assess ad hoc requests from the business for sales tools, collateral, event sponsorship, campaigns etc. Integrate activities into the regional plan if justified and push back where not.
- Working with sales and solutions marketing lead in the development of sales enablement tools.
- Localise marketing materials and sales tools for local markets.
- Work with sales to ensure the marketing & sales process (utilising the MA and CRM tools) is followed and effective.
- Support content creation consistent tone of voice, messaging etc.
- Contribute to the development of a customer engagement programme.
- Drive case studies and customer references from within the business and manage customer permissions
