Smart Banking Solution Ltd (“SBS”) is a Tanzanian service provider of choice for OUTSOURCED BANKING solutions in the East Africa market with offices in Tanzania. SBS assists its partners in achieving quicker positive results through applied and proven software and hardware solutions. With its extended network of internationally renowned technology partners, SBS offers its clients a complete solution for increased efficiency. Responsible for the opening and managing of merchant accounts. This position will require accuracy, analysis, ability to work with the other teams to deliver service to the Retailers. Role: Responsible for handling all operational aspects related to merchants by providing Support to merchants by diagnosing and resolving problems where possible and escalating problems through appropriate channels.
Qualification:
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
• Ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years directly related operations or back office experience in the financial services industry.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook; PowerPoint a plus) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Demonstrated work experience in a fast-paced, dynamic team work environment with the ability to work independently when necessary and required.
• Strong attention to detail with good communication skills—both verbal and written.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, over the phone and in person—ability to provide high quality customer service in the environment described above.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and see projects through to completion.
• Must be willing to go the extra mile (initiative), and should enjoy the operations and accounting/finance environment.
• General knowledge of Card System preferred.
