The Institute of Accountancy Arusha is a parastatal academic institution offering undergraduate and postgraduate training courses. It is established by the Institute of Accountancy Act No.1 of 1990 and is located at Njiro Hill, seven kilometers Southern-East of Arusha City. The Institute wishes to recruit a number of suitable, motivated, potential and capable human resources from the market on three year contract. Scope of the position and its expected outputs: Holder of the position is responsible for all assigned in the ICT micro duties as area of specialization. The outputs in this position are expected in the quality, efficient and effective delivery of ICT user support services with big and value adding results with integrity and honesty. Position relationships: Reports to the Manager - ICT • Supervises: NIL

Qualifications & Experience:

Person specification:
The holder of this position must have the following: 
• Holder of secondary education academic certificate and a Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics or its equivalent and has five years experience in related field


• Must have a maximum age of 40 years


Key duties and responsibilities: 
• To create, maintain and update an automated inventory of IAA ICT equipment; 
• To carry out repair and maintain IAA ICT hardware; 
• To design and install network cabling systems according to international structured cabling standards; 
• To maintain documentation of all network cabling systems; 
• To implement procedures and systems to establish weekly status of critical ICT resources
