The position:The client is seeking to fill in the post of business development manager in software development and distribution.
The Position Title: Business Development Managers
The Position Level:Senior Management
Reporting to:Managing Directors
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Researches, designs, develops and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
Designs, develops, codes, tests and debugs highly complex new software products or makes significant enhancements to existing software.
• Develops and applies advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems.
• Highly complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations.
• Conducts investigations and tests of considerable complexity.
• Factors emerging technologies and product supportability into design and implementation.
• Provides input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.
• Advises hardware engineers on machine characteristics that affect software systems, such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements.
• Prepares reports on analyses, findings, and project progress, and presents results to management and/or customer personnel.
• Serves as a customer interface to resolve problems and ensure requirements are met on a timely basis.
• Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced software developers, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
• Serves as a technical team or task leader.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• The software developer should essentially undergo undergraduate program in software development, software engineering or computer science engineering. This would make them acclimatized with various programming language and impart the basic concept of it as well.
• He must acquire professional degree courses in any of the following certified software products like SUN, ORACLE, MICROSOFT, JAVA,UNIX,SAP, CISCO,CCNA ERP,etc. This would help him to understand the application of each product and would assist him in developing new ones by incorporating certain platform.
• He can also undergo post graduation courses in specialized subjects of Engineering and technology. This would help him to grasp the knowledge extensively on the particular field. Moreover, he would also gain the potential of researching with various software designs for developing a new one.
• The candidate should have worked for a period of 6+ years with a reputable organization. Candidates who have had management experience are highly preferred
