In this role you will lead the RTPI's Research Function and deputise for the Head of Policy Practice and Research. You will lead in establishing a clear, distinct and viable role for the RTPI in planning research and develop its role as a guider and influencer of spatial planning research.
You will have experience and understanding of research methodologies and methods, an understanding of politics and governments, particularly in the areas of the economy, housing and transport. Experience of working in planning research or practice would be an advantage as would corporate membership of the RTPI.
