Client is public sector organisation tasked with the maintenance of the road network in South East Queensland. As result of peak in workload they are looking to recruit a project manager to work as part of their Civils Construction team.
The role is interesting and varied and would include working as a genuine project manager on certain projects; liaising with a Site Manager on their on site team to deliver a project on time and to cost and on others acting as a Client Side PM, working with an external Contractor; managing them to deliver the project as per the terms of their contract
Ideally candidates would be degree qualified Civil Engineers or technical officer with significant experience of delivering road and associated infrastructure projects for public sector authority.
Client offers a genuine work life balance and an interesting and varied workload. The pay rates are pretty flexible and dependent on experience. Would suggest between $40 and $55 per hour would be in the right ball park, although the client does have some flexibility for particulary strong candidates.
