As the SEO Lead, this person will be responsible for leading the development of the research strategies and practices, and managing the implementation of project documentations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining documentation on SEO best practices and working with (internal) Web content editors to continually improve the company’s external search result rankings
- Formulate effective keyword strategies for clients based on keyword research and an in-depth knowledge of SEO best practices; this includes knowing how to identify the least inexpensive, yet most profitable, keywords for client sites – for a pay-per-click (PPC) campaign and/or to improve organic search results
- Create (or oversee the creation of) original SEO content for client sites including Meta Title, Description and Keyword tags, advise on SEO-friendly URL and domain selection and implement off-page SEO content strategies such as coding (i.e., H1, H2, H3)
- Keep abreast of white hat and black hat tactics and assist in training the technical team in keyword research, SEO copywriting and SEO best practices
- Manages landing page optimization and tracking URLs and Monitors search advertising for accuracy
- Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates
Skills and interests
- On page & off page factors on Google and Yahoo with knowledge of Ad word and ad sense and proficient with meta tag, keyword analysis
- Should have exposure to develop Design Layout for the Dynamic & Static Websites and thorough understanding of e-commerce marketing techniques, overall SEO/SEM strategies and integrated communications
- Energetic, good team player, Highly organized with attention to detail
- Understanding of online marketing landscape and technical SEO
- Ability to evaluate and modify HTML, CSS and JavaScript for SEO purposes
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree with equivalent experience and a minimum of 1-2 years experience in professional web design
- Expert with wide experience in SEO & SEO Tools.
- Expert at finding the right keywords, analyzing raw statistical data, building on and off page strategy
- Intimate of Google Analytics and Webmaster tool
- Excellent knowledge of SEO reporting and SEO tracking
