Our Client, an Information Communications Technology firm providing Custom Software Development, Mobile Banking, Web solutions alongside other ICT based services, seeks to recruit a Special Projects and Business Development Head.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-4 years of experience in technical sales engagements in a relevant corporate industry and experience with enterprise software solutions in large complex organizations.

- Developing business plans, business cases and leads for new ventures, pitching them internally and discussing the same business cases with relevant parties and organizations to jointly come up with an acceptable solution
- Engaging thoroughly in Research and Development of both technical and business needs to come up with opportunities and potential business partnerships
- Documenting viable projects, writing project proposals, presentations and project requirement documents
- Building and maintaining viable business relationships with clients and colleagues in the internal organization structure, ensuring that there is smooth execution of project workflow, development of business cases and evaluation of the same
- Building and growing a team of Business Development Executives. He/she will manage and be accountable for their performance
- Identifying trendsetter ideas by researching new technology, industry, market and related events, publications and announcements
- Tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments to potentially position the organization to developing relevant products that will ensure business leadership, growth and continuity
- Supporting marketing activities including trade shows, mailings on mailing lists e.t.c
- Conducting relevant workshops, meetings and seminars to drive the business development objectives of the organization as a whole
Qualifications and Competencies
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer science or any related field
- Diploma in Business Management or Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage
- At least 2-4 years of experience in technical sales engagements in a relevant corporate industry
- Experience with enterprise software solutions in large complex organizations
- Good technical background with an understanding of software solutions development and project cycle
- Proven leadership and ability to drive Business development team.
- Ability to travel extensively
