Job Description
One Acre Fund is a rapidly growing organization; we are seeking individuals to take position in the organization as District Treasurer. One Acre Fund is looking for experiences, talented and candidates who are committed to making a difference in farmers’ lives.

Candidate Profile
Interested Applicants must meet the following criteria and requirements (all of equal importance):
- Completion and good results in high school and college
- 1-3 years work experience in a similar capacity, with excellent references
- Strong work ethic and strong numerical skills
- Attention to detail
- Computer literacy
- Quick learner and team player
- Excellent written and verbal communicator
- Strong sense of accountability and responsibility
- A logical mind with the capacity to overcome difficult problems creatively
- Good organizational skills
- A strong sense of ethics, honesty and integrity
Treasurer Roles and Responsibilities
- Record Field Officer repayment information, and follow up on balance or receipt issues
- Record weekly District KPIs
- Review and reconcile revenue information with Bookkeeper and bank data sources
- Record all district cash transfers, expenses and cash revenues in the expense log
- Submit all expense and bank transfer documentation to HQ on a weekly basis
- Manage the district bank account for cash for operations, and/or repayment revenue
- Filing of Client and District Documentation, and assisting Bookkeeper in doing so
- Work with the Bookkeeper and Data Entry Specialist to accomplish District Finance Team goals
Location
The candidate should be willing to reside in our areas of operation in the Western regions of Kenya, which include, but are not limited to: Bungoma, Chwele, Teso, Webuye, Lugari, Butere, Busia, and Kakamega
Preferred Start Date: As soon as possible
