Responsibilities:
-Ensure that required reports to donors are completed and transmitted in a timely manner.
-Oversee collection of data from outreach, clinic and training programs, and assist with improvements to monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure that quality, timely data is available.
-Write grant proposals, edit reports provided by Program Managers, and generally oversee grant management.
-Work with Finance Officer to ensure timely preparation of financial reports for donors, the Board of Directors and others, as needed.
-Provide management support to all programs and assist in developing staff leadership and management development training opportunities.
-Establish and maintain partnerships with government departments and agencies, non-government organizations, the private sector, donors and others.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in public health, youth services, counseling, social sciences, or other field
-Two years work experience in community outreach, health, education, youth, international development, or related field
-Successful history of grant writing and management
-Experience managing and leading diverse groups, including both paid staff and volunteers
-Experience working in the Pacific Islands or another developing nation
Desired experiences and skills:
-Proficiency in Marshallese language
-Graduate degree in relevant field
-Experience working with at-risk, out-of-school, or underprivileged youth
-History of working with peer education models or as a peer educator
-Experience teaching sensitive topics (substance abuse, STIs, HIV, teen pregnancy, suicide, etc)
