Project summary:
Tanzania Implementing Partner Reporting System (IPRS) is a USAID-funded initiative to improve data quality and results reporting of implementing partners (IPs) across USAID/Tanzania's technical areas, specifically education, agriculture, environment, health (non-PEPFAR) and democracy and governance. The support provided by the successful contractor will be targeted at improving the functionality and usefulness of the Mission's web-based Implementing Partner Reporting System (IPRS) and conducting data quality assessments (DQAs).
Scope of Work:
- Manage the overall program and technical support associated with the improvement of the web-based reporting and data systems
- Responsible for leading data quality assessment activities
- Provide monitoring and evaluation training to select USAID partners
- Supervise upgrades and maintenance of a web-based partner reporting system
- Ensure that data is collected, analyzed, and reported to USAID in a timely manner
- Staff supervision, development and mentoring
Key Qualifications:
- Significant USAID project monitoring and evaluation experience including understanding of agency policies and procedures, data quality assessments, data collection, performance monitoring, and reporting.
- Experience developing performance monitoring systems, conducting M&E trainings, and evaluating USAID programs preferred
- Experience managing and/or using web-based M&E systems and databases preferred
- A university degree in a relevant discipline
- Experience with USAID-funded or other international donor-funded projects
- Ability to build positive working relationships with USAID, other U.S. government agencies, and stakeholders
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Strong management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Tanzanian citizenship is required
