JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Information Technology Lead, will be responsible for supporting, upgrading and
maintaining Fabec Investment Limited systems for the highest quality and accurate Fabec operations in Tanzania. S/he will also provide Information Technology technical support to the to all Fabec staffs
teams/Users with technical oversight from the Information Technology Lead.
SCOPE
The Information Technology Manager provides advice and assistance to supervisors and staffs. This may include information on training needs and opportunities, job descriptions, performance reviews and personnel policies of the Council.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;
Provide Information Technology technical support to all teams and other teams within and out of the office
Build simple database schemes, tables, procedures and permissions in Servers.
Perform any other duty as requested by line manager
Manage information technology and computer systems
Plan, organize, control and evaluate Information Technology and electronic data operations.
Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
Ensure security of data, network access and backup system
Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organization
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions on time
Audit systems and evaluate their outcome
Handle annual budgets and ensure cost effectiveness
Preserve assets, information security and control structures
Manage staff by training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations
Develop, design & managing organizational website and comply with the digital marketing strategy

The Information Technology Officer may have to work odd or long hours at a time to complete special requests and projects. The Information Technology Officer may have to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment, computers and attending sessions.
Environmental Conditions
The office is a busy facility. The Information Technology Officer will have to serve a number of people and projects at one time, and will be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of staffs. The Information Technology officer may find the environment to be busy and will need excellent organizational, time management and stress management skills to complete the required tasks.
Mental Demands
The Information Technology officer will have to manage a number of requests and tasks at one time and must be prepared to deal with emergencies and stressful situations at any time.
