Position Description:
The Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) was established by the enactment of the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority Act 2003 Cap 80 (R.E 2006).The Authority is responsible for provision of Air Navigations Services, safety, security and economic regulation of the activities of persons and institutions providing air transport services, aeronautical airport services and air navigation services. In addition the Authority 01 provides air navigation services in Tanzania.
In order to carry out its role, the Authority continues to implement its In organization structure and is now looking for self motivated Tanzanians  with appropriate competencies to fill vacant positions in the Divisions of Safety Regulation and Corporate services.
Reporting to:Senior Air Transport Regulation Officer
Basic Function:
S/He will be responsible to ensure that all air transport and ground handling operators comply with regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
-To assist in overseeing enforcement of regulations for provisions of air and ground handling services.
-To assist in the implementation of air transport policies. To assist in monitoring the performance of the industry
-To assist in managing the implementation of bilateral Air Service agreements.
-To assist in responding to complaints by operators and customers.
-To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
-A Bachelor degree in Economics/ Business Administration/Air
-Transport Management / Transport economics from recognized University.
-Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
Working Experience:
-Experience in a related field is an added advantage
-Salary: Within salary grade of TCM S.6
