Proposal Summary
IBTCI is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist for an anticipated Monitoring & Evaluation Project in Tanzania. The project is contract by USAID Tanzania and is for a period of three years, with 2 additional option years, for a total period of up to five years. The purpose of the contract is to support USAID/Tanzania to improve upon and implement the Tanzania Mission's Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system.
Position Summary
The Administrative Support Specialist will provide secretarial, logistical, and operations support to contractor teams, USAID and partner country personnel. They will Conduct research and obtain documents to inform technical assistance, briefings and reports. They will also coordinate logistics for travel, study tours, training and other events.
Qualifications
- Applicants for this position should be personnel with at least 5 years prior experience of a similar nature.
- Experience with USAID systems and donor-funded projects preferred.
- A qualified applicant will have one of the following combinations of education and experience:
- University degree and 3 – 5 years of relevant experience
- Secondary school diploma and 7 – 10 years of relevant experience
- Fluent in English and Kiswahili
