IT Officer Job in Kigoma

Position Description:

Specific duties

1. Ensure that all IRC computers and printers are in working order. Advice IRC in the maintenance of computers, printers and other IT equipment as requested.
2. Installation of Computer Software and Hardware.
3. Ensure that IT standards meet IRC  hardware and connectivity standards.
4. Develop schedule service for all computer Software, Networks and Hardware. 
5. Responsibility to implement and monitor various Database Programs.
6. Undertaking general scheduled services of computer hardware routine essential systems back up.
7. Carry out normal routine services of all LAN systems and Internet connections for.
8. Train IRC staff and guests on the safe handling of computers and accessories. Train staff on basic IT functions and regular back up of data.
9. Supervise computer users and ensure that they are handling computers and accessories as per IRC procedures. Inform all computer users of any alert on virus attack to their computers.
10. Train staff on simple computer handling and replacing of parts like installing cartridges, back up. Ensuring that computer operations are not affected during his/her planned or unplanned absence.

Common duties

1. Attend and participate in trainings identified/organized by your supervisor.
2. Follow any new procedures and guidelines designated in circulars from.
3. Perform other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications

-Education Minimum:  Diploma in Information Technology

-At least two years experience on the relevant field
