DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for handling incoming calls to the reservations department in a professional, efficient, friendly manner. The primary tasks of this person will be to answer the phone within 3 rings utilizing the appropriate greeting and following the reservations script in handling the guest inquiry for Camps space.

Responsible for keeping accurate records of all paper transactions and will be responsible for handling advance deposits and keeping accurate records of all advance deposit.

All other specific task that will be assigned as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Certificate, Diploma or Degree graduate. Hotel and reservation experience helpful. Must have a sales technique, good customer service, communications skills, and attention to detail.

General Responsibilities

-Answer incoming calls and assist with reservations, confirmations, room need requests, and questions. -Explain Camps products, service and other information about the camps as requested. -Sell, process and enter and confirm room reservations using selling techniques and strategies. -Verify payment for stay including incidental costs by obtaining credit information. -Assist guests with issues and complaints, with empathy and a focus on guest satisfaction.Use supervisor support when necessary. -Answer incoming calls within 3 rings with appropriate greeting. -Facilitate guest departures providing accurate statements
