Job Description
- Direct and develop internal communications guidelines, and roadmap in coordination with Group, CMU and OpCos management
- Direct and oversee Programs to foster communication within the Group, Clusters and OpCos
- Ensure all internal communications are consistent and aligned with organization’s brand strategy and guidelines
- Work closely with Group IT to launch and manage content of Group intranet
- Direct, develop and maintain an internal communications program that identifies company's strategic messages and effectively delivers those messages
- Define and manage the internal communications architecture, including; target audiences, information needs, messages, media, forums, channels, frequency, techniques, and tools
- Write, edit and manage design of staff communication including but not limited to corporate broadcasts, presentations, speeches, etc.
- Secure required approvals for internal communication
- Counsel other managers in the organization regarding best ways to communicate information to the employees
- Liaise with Clusters and OpCos to develop Internal Communication Programs
- Measure the effectiveness of Internal Communication and make enhancements
- Develop the Internal Communication strategy for the Group and oversee the implementation of this strategy across the Group
- Review, analyse and recommend the streamlining of various processes of the function to support synergy and enhance corporate performance and efficiency.
- Monitor, track and follow up on the performance and competence of the team.
- Develop and recommend the financial and manpower budget for Internal Communications. Control the budget within approved parameters
Desired Skills & Experience
8 to 10 years of experience in Internal Communications with at least 4 years in a managerial role in a large and progressive business organization
ideally experience of working within a TMT environment
excellent verbal/written English. Arabic lanugage a significant advantage
Must have proven track record of developing internal communcations programmes
