Precision Air Services Plc is a fast growing private Tanzanian airline which operates in Partnership with Kenya Airways, with its strategies to expand wings beyond East Africa and Africa.

POSITION:             INTERNAL AUDITOR

REPORTS TO:         PRINCIPAL INTERNAL AUDITOR

DUTY STATION:     DAR ES SALAAM

Role Purpose Statement: ‐ To execute financial and operational audit assignments as you will be assigned by the Principal Internal Auditor.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

·         Carrying out surprise checks and investigations as assigned to you by the Team Leader.

·         Preparing audit reports on assignments allocated to you and submitting them to the Team Leader for review.

·         Carrying out operational audits as per specific audit programmes.

·         Carrying out any other audit assignment as may be assigned by the Team Leader.

·         And any other duties as may be assigned by the Chief and/or Principal Internal Auditor from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Qualified accountant: CPA (T) or equivalent.

·         Thorough knowledge of IFRS, IAS, IPPF, Tax legislation and company law.

·         IT literacy and proficiency in CAATs.

·         Membership of professional bodies: NBAA, IIA, etc.

·         Excellent risk analysis skills.

·         Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
